"Our coaches and staff are dedicated to providing the best possible environment for our student-athletes to thrive, and Chairman Darrel Mike's donation reinforces this mission," said the CVUSD. "These helmets will also boost team pride and engagement among our students, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie that goes beyond the playing field. This donation not only supports student safety but also fosters a sense of unity and community support among student-athletes, reinforcing the dedication of coaches and staff to creating a thriving environment.

According to the CVUSD, the helmets will be distributed to Coachella Valley High School, Desert Mirage High School, and West Shores High School.
