La Quinta holds State of the City event with business awards

The La Quinta State of the City, Business Awards, and Expo took place recently, gathering speakers, sponsors, and attendees for an event that highlighted notable contributions to the community.

Several awards were given during the event. Angelique Ontiveros from DesertArc received the Volunteer of the Year award. LifeStream Blood Bank was named Non-Profit of the Year. Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill earned the Business of the Year title. The Mayor’s Award went to Old Town Artisan Studios.

The event was supported by various sponsors. The Title Sponsor was Desert Wildlife Center. Presenting Sponsors included Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, Desert Care Network, and Palm Springs International Film Society. Pacaso sponsored the awards.
