The City of Indio has announced the return of the Indio Farmer’s Market, starting on Saturday, October 5, and continuing through May 2025. The market will be held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Towne Street and Bliss Avenue in Downtown Indio. Attendees can look forward to fresh, locally sourced produce and handmade artisan goods.

Lawmakers question Cleveland National Forest's refusal of staffing help

Today, Representatives Ken Calvert (CA-41) and Young Kim (CA-40) led a bipartisan letter to the Supervisor of the Cleveland National Forest (CNF), raising concerns about staffing shortfalls.
