Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Pink Floyd's formation and the 50th anniversary of their album "Wish You Were Here," The Australian Pink Floyd Show is set to perform at The Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on May 23, 2025. Tickets for the event will be available starting December 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. through various channels including the Fantasy Springs Box Office, phone, and online.
The band, described by The Times as “The Gold Standard” and by The Daily Mirror as “The Kings of the Genre,” held its first concert in Adelaide in 1988. Since then, they have performed globally in over 35 countries and participated in significant events such as David Gilmour’s 50th birthday celebration with Rick Wright.
The upcoming tour aims to celebrate the iconic album "Wish You Were Here" with performances that resonate with Pink Floyd fans worldwide. The show promises advanced lighting and video effects, lasers, inflatables, and high-quality live sound reminiscent of original Pink Floyd concerts.
Replicating music from all phases of Pink Floyd’s history, this tour underscores TAPFS's commitment to honoring Barrett, Waters, Gilmour, Wright & Mason. The band collaborates with former Pink Floyd touring musicians like Guy Pratt and Durga McBroom. Lorelei McBroom has been part of TAPFS for 15 years after performing with Pink Floyd during their Momentary Lapse Of Reason and Delicate Sound Of Thunder tours.
Known for being more than just a tribute band, The Australian Pink Floyd Show was the first to bring this concept to international arenas. They have played sold-out shows across Europe, UK, America, Canada & South America.
Originating from Adelaide's bars and clubs over three decades ago, TAPFS has grown into an international ensemble featuring members from Australia, the UK, France, and the USA.
Tickets are set to go on sale on December 6 at multiple venues including Fantasy Springs Box Office.
