The Desert Recreation Foundation is currently seeking a Management Analyst to help enhance its organizational functions and community outreach. The role demands working under administrative direction to organize comprehensive programs linked with the district's departments and boards. In addition to serving as a district liaison to the Foundation, the candidate must be adept at providing professional assistance to management staff.

Key duties entail serving as the Assistant General Manager's liaison to the public and various regulatory agencies. The candidate is expected to analyze, interpret, and explain departmental and programmatic policies and procedures. Participation in professional meetings to stay informed about new trends and innovations is also required. Moreover, the Management Analyst will assist with fiscal administration activities and contract administration by preparing expenditure summary and other financial reports when requested.

The position involves leading grant opportunities through research, application development, administrative reviews, and reporting. Additionally, the analyst will develop and implement techniques to measure the cost-effectiveness of programs and policies, conduct research, compile various data, and provide informed recommendations to senior management.

Candidates are expected to have a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, or a related field, alongside four years of experience in community or public relations. Public agency experience is preferred. The role requires a valid California Driver’s License.
