During times of economic uncertainty, small business owners are often faced with challenges that require adaptation and strategic planning. A new program titled "From Surviving to Thriving: Shoring Up Your Small Business for a New Normal" aims to equip business owners with the tools necessary to navigate these challenges effectively.
The program focuses on four key areas: strategy and planning, finances, operations, and sales and marketing. Each session is designed to address specific questions within these concepts, providing fresh ideas and practical tools for implementation.
On June 4th, the first session will cover Strategy & Planning. Participants will learn how to set overall goals for their businesses and develop plans to achieve them while managing day-to-day operations. The session encourages stepping back to assess business direction and priorities.
The second session on June 11th will focus on Finances. It will explore the fundamentals of sound financial management, offering insights into improving cash positions, evaluating expenses, and conducting reliable financial forecasting.
Operations will be discussed in the third session on June 18th. This part of the program emphasizes understanding and optimizing key operating processes to enhance efficiency by streamlining tasks that matter most.
Finally, on June 25th, Sales & Marketing strategies will be explored. This session aims at helping businesses meet customer needs through effective product offerings and marketing strategies despite current challenges.
All sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays from June 4th to June 25th between 11 a.m. and noon. Interested participants can register at from-surviving-to-thriving-small-business.eventbrite.com.
