The Palm Springs Power will host Coachella Valley’s largest Fourth of July celebration at Palm Springs Stadium on Thursday. The event will feature a baseball game between the Power and the Power Summer Collegiate League All-Stars, followed by a fireworks show.

Coachella to host Independence Day celebration at Bagdouma Park

The City of Coachella will be hosting its annual Independence Day Celebration at Bagdouma Park this coming Wednesday, July 3rd, from 6 to 9 p.m. This free family event will offer guests onsite games, multiple carnival rides, a variety of local food vendors, free giveaways (while supplies last), and live music. The celebration will culminate in a fireworks grand finale at 9 p.m.
US Supreme Court allows cities to restrict public camping

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday overturned a lower court’s decision that had held enforcing criminal restrictions on public camping violates the Eighth Amendment's clause against cruel and unusual punishment unless the target of enforcement has access to adequate temporary shelter.
